Hoy 3 de Julio, hemos dirigido a José Manuel Barroso (Presidente de la Comisión Europea), Benita Ferrero-Waldner (Comisaria de Relaciones Exteriores), Sr. Jan Kohout (Ministro de Relaciones Exteriores de la República Checa), Sr. Carl Bildt (Ministro de Relaciones Exteriores de Suecia) y Sr. Miguel Ángel Moratinos (Ministro de Relaciones Exteriores de España) :

1- La carta con todas las firmas solicitando a la Unión Europea y a sus estados miembros que refuercen con hechos la condena el brutal Golpe de Estado perpetrado por las fuerzas armadas el pasado 28 de Junio.

2- La Declaración "Movimientos sociales de América Latina y Europa rechazan las negociaciones del Acuerdo de Asociación Unión Europea-Centroamérica" firmada por mas de 100 movimientos sociales, organizaciones de la sociedad civil y redes de América Latina y Europa y apoyada por la Campaña "Agua fuera del AdA" que es respaldada por 600 organizaciones. Esta Declaración fue entregada por los movimientos centroamericanos a los Presidentes del SICA durante la reunión en Managua el 20 de Mayo de 2009.

Today, 3rd July, we have posted to Jose Manuel Barroso (President of the European commission), Benita Ferrero-Waldner (Commissioner for External Relations), Mr. Jan Kohout (Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic), Mr. Carl Bildt (Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden) and Mr. Miguel Angel Moratinos (Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain) :

1- The letter with the signatures urging the European Union and its Member States to act decisively on the condemnation of the brutal ’Coup d’état’ perpetrated by the Honduran armed forces last 28th June. Declaration with signatures attached

2- The Declaration : Social movements from Latin America and Europe reject of negotiations of the European Union-Central American Association Agreement. This Declaration has been signed by more than 100 organisations from civil society organisations and networks from Latin America and Europe and has been endorsed by 600 organisations who form part of the campaign "Water out of the Association Agreements". This Declaration was presented by Central American movements to the Presidents of Central American Integration System (SICA) during their meeting in Managua on 20th May 2009.
